DR-HD100 and Vegas 7.e
Hi
I know how Vegas remove pulldown (24p) when capturing material from tape of my HD100. But what if I record video with hard disk like JVC`s DR-HD100 (or flash memory), how and when (wich step of the process) Vegas will remove it to get me a 23,97p file? Thanks Ron |

If you record them as m2t then they are already conformed as 23.98 for 24p.

Thank you Ted.
Ok. M2T. But what do you mean with "already conformed as 23.98 "? The file recorded with the drive is "pure" 23.98p, without the ading of the pulldown? I mean, Vegas doesn`t have to remove pulldown when I bring the file from DR-HD100 to my computer`s drive? Thanks again Ron |

Ron,
I'm not so familiar with vegas and how it handles mpg transport streams(m2t) im an edius user. I know that, unlike avi's from the panasonic dvx's which add frames to conform them to 60i then upon editing you tell the program to remove the extra frames, with m2t from the JVC the m2ts are AS IS, whatever you record, 30P 24P or 60P its recorded as is. All you have to do is drag and drop. Im using the FS-4HD with an HD100 and HD200. Ted |

Thank you very much for your attention Ted.
Unfortunatelly, Vegas forum people hasn`t answered the last 3 days. Best regards Ron |
