Shallow DOF with MTF?

It is nice to have adaptors like Zoerk and MTFs as an alternative to the more expensive ones. But there are no optical parts in them to adapt the big 35mm images to the small 1/3"CCD. So, is it possible to get shallower DOF with them?

Nope. Focal length = focal length on direct adapters.
