JVC HD101E dead pixel
Hi guys, my JVC HD101E (Pal) now has 3 dead pixels.!!!! not caused by gain or anything, it's really dead. the bright dots even appear when I close the aperture. What should I do, it's quite noticeable, especially when shooting in dark area. Can I sent it back to JVC to have it fixed? If yes, where should I sent, by the way, I am in New Zealand. How much would that cost? Please advice.
Many thanks!!! |

Hi Aaron.
Here is a link on how to fix them in your camera: http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showpost....26&postcount=5 And, if you are on the Mac platform (Final Cut Pro), here is a link to a good plug-in which can correct the dead pixels in footage which you have already shot: http://www.digital-heaven.co.uk/fcpl...ncarnation.php |

so nice that feature is.
I've had to use it about 5 times over the life of the camera. I wish all cams had that feature. |
