Current status of FS-4 HD and QuickTime recording?

I was looking at the Focus Enhancements FS-4 HD Portable DTE Recorder - NTSC - 60GB on the B&H website and was wondering what the current info is regarding the FS-4 and QuickTime.

In searching earlier threads (going back 1-2 years) I saw a mention of the FS-4 not recording to QuickTime at all and then a later mention that it might now record to QuickTime, but it definitely won't record 24p to QuickTime. I'm wondering what the current status is.

Looking at the FS-4 specs on the B&H website, it mentions:

"HDV: 720p 24/25/30fps" and "DTE File Formats: ... QuickTime".
But it doesn't mention them TOGETHER. (Maybe it only does NTSC to QuickTime?)

I'd only need the FS-4 to record QuickTime 720p24 and QuickTime 720p25.

But does it?

A local store is selling the DR-HD100 for $2,500. B&H are selling the FS-4 HD for $700. Hence my interest in the FS-4.

Are there any current FS-4 HD users out there who are successfully recording QuickTime 720p24 and QuickTime 720p25?

If you are editing on the Mac using FCP you want the Focus Enhancement's Pro or better yet, (same money) the JVC branded Focus Enhancements DTE that talks back to the JVC and giving you information of the DTE in your viewfinder. It was about $1,500 for 100 gigs at B&H.. then $180 for a mount to hang the DTE off the back of my IDX battery system.

Thanks for clarifying, Eugen. And thanks Bill and Alex. Well, it looks like it's either DR-HD100 or stick with tape!
