JVC brothers hit Moss Landing

Hey guys Brian Luce and I had some fun this past weekend putting together a little short on the ever so smelly California Sea Lions. There's footage abound in it, some good some average some pretty crappy. There's wide (13X) footage, and a good deal close up (80-200 Nikon, 300 Nikon). It's tragic to have it so compressed for the web. Kind of like painting a picture no one will ever get to see. If I could share what's here on the home screen I would.

Enjoy - California Sea Lions

Nice Work, Eric (and Brian!). As far as web video goes, that looks PRETTY DARN GOOD! I guess I too would love to see what you're seeing on YOUR monitor if this is offensive...

looked killer to me even on my asus G4 knee top (to small to be a laptop) Wish I had known you were going to be up this way.. I would have bought beers just to shoot some footage side by side with my HD110 and a 16x, so later I could watch both on two HD monitors and keep trying to convince myself to use the credit card on some new glass.

Nah, I'm ten bucks a month with Yahoo. I also hate the name of the site now too. Have to spell it out like eleven times to people, which is completely contrary to my original goal. But quite typical of me. Thanks on the offer to shoot together. I'll be heading down there in a few weeks to visit the little guy at camp in Ventura. I should bring the 13X. You should bring laxatives. ;- )

Awe inspiring shots there!

I don't want to let the cat out of the bag yet guys but let me just be the first to say that in a few months Eric will be shooting with something that will make you all red with envy...oops .. was that supposed to say green with envy? I'm all mixed up..

Eric, Brian just Just landed on the other side of the world few hours ago. I'm excited.

I feel its Christmas.

Ted, thanks for letting me use YOUR camera for the Sea Lion work. Figures I'd get the best footage on the last day I'll ever use it. Story of my life.

Oh and Merry Christmas!
