JVC’s HD studio Monitor (VF-HP840U)

Hi all,
Who's got practical experience with this item ? For film-style shoots, location shooting etc.
As on-camera monitor for DP, focus-puller etc.
I tested it briefly at an expo and it seems really useful. Expensive, too, but 16x9 and 2.35 safe zones , focus assist (but tha'ts useless if DP uses cine lenses, no?)

I use a separate a 17" HD monitor.
As I see it:
Advantage 1: much better resolution 1024 x 768 than JVC DT-V9L1D or Marshals plus1:1 pixel scanning
Advantage 2: Weighs 2 kg/ 4 lb. i.e. less than the above

Drawback 1: the connection is via VF out on the cam so DP can't use the cam's VF and focus puller this monitor at the same time
Drawback 2: can probably only be used with JVC GY-HD ?
Drawback 3: price

Any opinions out there ? Thanks
