Is this a dead pixel?
I just noticed a little 'bright', greenish-blue dot in some footage I shot last weekend on my JVC GY HD 100UA. I saw it on the lcd screen of the camera, and on the laptop running dvrack.
It's on the footage when I play it back on the computer. Is this a dead pixel? First itme I've seen it. |

sounds like it. check your lens make sure you don't have dust or anything on it. also check to make sure your gains aren't up. you can try the pixel comp feature, but don't get crazy with it.

I had a blue pixel, but only in HD mode.
I could only see it on my sony studio crt hd monitor, it did not show up on the lcd. I ran the pixel masking routine and it fixed it. |
