Salsa Video Mixin the HD110U with an other camera?
Hello,
I am about to produce a Salsa DVD and I am using the JVC HD110U. I need another camera for closeups and I have not idea what camera would work well with the JVC HD110U. I don't have much money and I need a few options! I will be shooting HDV 30p. Thanks you for the help!!!! |

One option, post where you are, and see if there are any local owners of JVC ProHD cams nearby who might work with you. The big cities have rentals of JVC HD100s. Rental for a day is cheaper and would be better for your product than buying a cheaper camera.
Are you delivering a final product in HD? Consider good SD cameras if it's a strictly SD delivery. Then there are the JVC 720/30p 1st generation cameras around. Consumer and prosumer units are pretty similar with mainly audio inputs separating them. If you can find one at a reasonable price, the footage will drop right in the same edit.
