HD footage from music video shoot... and details as well, questions welcome!
Hello all, I try to keep posting footage for all of you, because I know when i'm in need of footage from a specific camera model, it can be very hard to find at times.
The following footage was from a music video I shoot in NYC. I was the Director of Photography on this one, and I pretty much had my hands full, as for there was no other real gaffers or crew available due to a triple booking, so I basically did everything myself. This is just a raw cut that I did really quick to post up online. www.newyorkfilmstudios.com/musicvideodemo.mov <-- Quicktime 720p 24 HD with MP4 compression (160Mb) All the lighting and settings in this is the following... Arri Lights... 2x arri HMI 1200 4x arri 650 3x arri 300 1x arri HMI 4000 2x arri 1000 LEE Gels of all kinds Letus35 adapter with Nikkor 50mm 1.4 set wide open. JVC HD110 @ HD 24p 1/48 TrueColor3 0 Gain and No color correction. Enjoy :-) Last edited by Giuseppe Pugliese; May 18th, 2008 at 07:06 PM. |

Hey Giuseppe. That looks pretty good-some of the best Letus35 footage I've seen. I've always had a dislike for the kind of bokeh the Letus produces, which is why I use the Brevis, but this looks quite good. Any CC at all? and What was the color gain setting on the HD110?
On another note, although there's no audio, I can tell they're dancing Merengue-I can tell 'cause I'm dominican myself...lol And the chick's got a set of facial features to die for :-)
