Thank you! I came back from the trip to find you had mailed the replacement to my boss, so thank you very much! This one is perfect!

You did a really good job making this. It is really informative.

I began following this thread when I bought my second GY-HD Camera two months ago. And I really know about lack of time but I gotta ask.
Is the PAL-version a week or three months away?
From the demoparts Iīve seen of the ProHD DVD it seems really worth the waiting but itīs december now.

Hello Cris and Tim. Do you have any information on the PAL-version? Hope you not have you cancelled that project? If you have, I will order the NTSC but it would really feel sad if the PAL-version is available soon after. I will be much grateful to know beforehand.

The PAL version is still on the backburner. There is way too much going on right now that is keeping us busy and we still have a quantity of the first run of the NTSC version available. We have have shipped the NTSC version around the world and have had zero complaints of compatibility with PAL DVD players. After visiting CES09 I'm starting to come around to the idea of a HD Blu-Ray release if it is financially viable.

BTW, it is likely that we will begin production on Volume 2 as soon as the HM series cameras are available.

Bring it on tim!

Christer, I pestered Tim for the PAL version as well and then ordered the standard original. It's playing perfectly here both on my computer and on my PAL television DVD player. My television is SECAM but there's no problem with that either. The DVD is really excellent, full of great advice for both the U and E cameras and is very well constructed; I highly recommend it as vital and very good value.

A "Take II" would be seriously appreciated Tim, put me down for one ... and bring it on!

Thank you Stuart.
I figured that it will be good help.
Does it cover both the HY-HD100 and 200? I have and use one of each and want them to behave as similar as possible. In the picture I mean.

I have been waiting for the PAL- version as well. But last week I couldn`t wait any longer and ordered the NTSC- version instead. Hopefully it will play without any problems. I am eagerly looking forward to it.

There's no secret. I post everything in FCP at 720p and use compressor to do the downconvert/mpeg2 encoding.

Ouch, you make it sound so simple. Let me ask you this, are you using DVD Studio Pro?
