New BR-HD50 Firmware Update
I have noticed (and downloaded) a new firmware upgrade for the BR-HD50. Version 1.09. Has anyone installed this yet? If so has it improved anything? Eg, FCP capturing???
The update seems to be only on the US site at the moment and says it's for the HD50U. I am in Australia and have the HD50E. I assume they have the same internals because they can both switch from 50hz to 60hz. Does anyone knows if it can be used on my model or if it works well??? Thanks Peter Last edited by Peter Brewer; April 10th, 2008 at 05:39 PM. |

Peter, what is the link of that page on the US site you mention? I took a look on their site, and all I can find is 1.08.

I downloaded this last night, but the included info file was the same PDF that came with 108, so I have no idea what the improvement/changes were. But my version menu now shows 109 so that MUST be good for something, right? :-)

The link is:
http://pro.jvc.com/prof/attributes/s...&feature_id=17 Then click on the firmware link. Fill out your info and it will tell you what version you have and what you need. |
