HDVsplit?

Anyone tried HDVsplit? I'm thinking of using this to convert my tape footage to ts files but I'm wondering if there are any disadvantages with this over Capdvhs? I would use the latter but I can't seem to make it run on my computer.

Regards, Greg.

I use it for my captures as it gives me the stream off the camera. It doesn't do all the features with the JVC camcorders. You have to uncheck the scene splitting feature.
