Deck Alternatives at DVinfo.net

Just breaking into the HDV world. For SD I use a cheapy camera as a deck. Works great. I think the cost of decks are outrageous. Was wondering if anyone can recommend a cheapy HDV camcorder, or share their deck alternatives.

why not just get DR HD 100 $1395.00 at B&H;
Then no deck needed

Wanted to see if I could get below $500. I probably am going to get the HD100. Just need to decide between the FS-4PRO & HD100.
