Rain/Dust Protection
Hi all,
I am shooting in some very dust environments over the next few weeks and am wondering whether the Porta Brace rainslicker would also serve as good dust protection for the camera. Trying to kill two birds with one stone. I know Kata has a nice looking dust protection unit for the JVC but it does not protect the lens at all. It would be good to know what people are using. portabrace makes this:
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...ody_Armor.html but it seems kinda cumbersom to have on there all the time. but then again, probably worth it to have all that protection in a really dusty environment. if you cant afford that, get a couple cans of "dust off" and just spray it off at the end of the day (or during, depending on how dusty it is) to keep it clean. the regular rain slicker for the camera is really nice though, I love it to death. |
