HD100 power off unexpectedly
Hello all, thanks for all your helpful posts on my last thread. I was shooting some footage today and the weirdest thing happened. While getting ready to press record, the camera inexplicably shut off. I didn't hit the power switch nor was the camera in an inactive state as I had just shot a clip 5 seconds prior. After a few seconds the camera suddenly powered on again (I didn't touch the power switch). I was wondering what might have caused this and is this a warning for some trouble to come? I am using an Anton Bauer Battery. Thanks in advance for your time.

I would make sure the screws that hold the anton bauer mount to the camera are on there good and tight. I checked mine once and they had worked just a little bit loose, now I check em' every once and a while. A loose battery mount could possibly explain your problem.

I think it would be appropriate to just join in with this very recent and relevant thread:
