Can I leave the WCV-82SC on all the time
When I bought my 201 I got this wideangle adaptor for free along with my IDX- batteries. Are there any downsides/ disadvantages to leaving it on all the time?
Right now I have attached it to the lens and fitted it with a UV- filter. I thought this would save time as I find my self many times needing as much wide angle as possible. In advance thanks. Svein Rune |

I have the same adaptor and filter setup as you on the HD200...I keep mine on all the time and haven't seen any downsides to it.

the only downside (or plus, depending) is the added weight. besides adding a little more coverage, it will also protect the stock lens on the other end. its a good piece of glass- its great that you got it for free!
