An HD100 Music Video
Greetings all. For those interested (or not), a music video we recently completed using the HD100 has been posted on YouTube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FbAXUXyWcqE
I welcome all comments good or bad (and yes, I'll keep my own criticisms to myself for now, but I've got a couple too) from those interested enough to post them. And if possible, maybe we could keep the chatter (assuming there eventually is any chatter) to the style, camera work, editing, etc. (rather than, for example, requests for the artist's telephone number or how much you may love or detest the song, etc.). Thanks in advance. |

loved the song, and the video was very impressive too. Very clean looking for a youtube compression aswell. Was that shot with the stock lens?

The stock lens was used, but for some of the shots we coupled it with a wide angle adapter (just the cheap Cavision screw-on) or a 35mm adapter (fitted with an array of Canon lenses ranging from a 50mm f1.2 to a 500mm mirror lens - the latter was used to achieve the "donut" effect in the shot where we were doing the slow focus shift from Andrea to the plane taking off behind her). In no case did we ever use the stock lens wide open or at full wide or full zoom. Andrea is very talented and I suspect that (at least in N. America) we'll be seeing more of her on various fronts. Cheers. |
