Digitize 720p25 or p50 tape via NTSC camera?
I have a "mystery" tape from England which so far has evaded playback on every HDV/DV/DVCPRO HD deck it's been put into. Just today we got word it's JVC 720p PAL frame rate.
A contact is telling me that an American NTSC camera will play it back even if it's 720p25 or p50. I seem to remember this being true from my previous ownership of an HD100, but my question is will the tape playback through both firewire AND analog if it's p50/p25, or just one or the other?

Sorry, I got impatient and decided I'd go to a place with the camera and find out for myself.
Turns out the camera will play p25 fine, after switching modes in menu. Digitizing as I type.
