Does FCS2 now support HD251 720/50p? at DVinfo.net

I'm just about to buy 2 HD251s but want to confirm that the latest version of FCP does support 50p. I'll be capturing footage directly to computer uncompressed via HD-SDI, so need 50p support! I remember reading somewhere recently that Apple announced 50p support, possibly at IBC?? I've searched this forum unsuccessfully. Thanks for any help!

Hi Jim,
Jigsaw, a major UK reseller of kit assured us that the next patch for the current FC pro will give us the holy grail of 50P!
It was supposed to be released shortly after IBC.....?
