400mph Blue Angel, overcranked - HD200

I know this isn't pretty, sharp, shot properly, or even one bit creative. But it'll definitely get a rise out of you..

Work warning: JETS ARE LOUD!

The pilot is what we in the UK call a proper twat! I reckon if you sent that clip to the US Airforce (if that's where the plane is from) he'd have his butt (I believe that's what it's referred to in the US) kicked so far up inside he'd never fly again from the sight of boot in his eyes! Margin for error 0, possible civilian injury percentage chance from flying that low at that speed in civilian areas 100%

Pretty cool though! Well caught on camera! Very entertaining!

Mind you......maybe it was a Russian plane over US waters! Now there's a thought!

LOL..

Thanks Stuart. I shot that while balancing on the bow of a 40' swaying yacht, in the wind. Ridiculous conditions. Once I followed them straight up into the sky while using the view finder and when they were straight up over head I lost all my bearings and almost fell off the damn boat! Lesson learned..

I can see (and hear) those buggars (Blue Angels) from my deck in Larkspur as they fly over Mt. Tamalpais. I had no idea they flew that low over the bay! I've been to fleet week many times and never saw that.

Hell of a shot Eric.

you caught that balancing on a bobbing yacht?

Have to say Eric, well done! To catch that is pretty impressive!

Can't believe that's a regular event out there. Amazed they get away with it!

That must be the difference between the USAF and the RAF! No Tom Cruises in the RAF! All Tally Ho and lounge lizard moustaches!

Roger and Out!
