my jvc100u does not turn off anyone can help

Hello,
kind of strange, but my camera is not turning off. I turn it off from the switch, but it turns back on right away, even though, the switch is off.

Does anyone had this problem before?

Any idea what the problem could be?

where is the power coming from...battery or the cable...if its the battery then try the cable...if its cable then try the battery...maybe that may help....worth giving it a shot
