Mic recommendation for GR-HD1
I'm working with a non-profit organization on a video project and they want to purchase a camera to capture some day-to-day interaction with staff and residents of their facility that I will then incorporate with interviews and some general cover footage that we'll shoot with my GY-HD250. I don't think the HD1 comes with a directional mic does it? If not can someone recommend a good mic to attach to the HD1 that is directional enough to pick up conversations without a lot of extra room noise? Any input is most appreciated as we need to order this in the next week.

You could try a Rode VideoMic.

I would secund that. I have one for my GL2 and it work great. It should be good with a HD1 as well.
