I would really like to see it but I'm lost in that site. Can you give more indication how to get to your movie?

first you got to subscribe. its free and easy.
after that, you can search for ADULT CONTEMPORARY on the top right, do a search for short-movies. or you can just go to SHORT MOVIES (middle top) and click on CURRENT SEASON 2, and check out the IN COMPETITION. thanks for the interest ciao |

Daniel,
don't you have a direct link? Also, how did you compress it? I had a film ready to go, but I couldn't get it down to a small enough size to go up. heath

I think they went completely Real Player. I haven't been there since they started using it. I refuse to install that crap! It's really a shame because I used to go to AtomFilms (before Shockwave ruined it) all the time. iFilm is another that went to crap with their ridiculous advertising everywhere. And then being really excited about Triggerstreet when it first came out, I register only to find out that most if not ALL of the footage was Realplayer.

D/L and install Real Alternative. It is just the codec and none of the other crap.
Get it here: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Real_Alternative.htm For those who want it as well there is a version of Quicktime as well. Quicktime Alternative, again has no player, sign up ect.. http://www.free-codecs.com/download/QuickTime_Alternative.htm So no excuse, go check out Daniels movie. I think he did a nice job. Great atmosphere.

Hey thanks for the link Ken!
It took some doing to get it downloaded and then I figured out it was for PC's (I mostly use Mac's). So I got it downloaded on a PC, got it installed, fired up my Firefox and pointed it to TriggerStreet, signed in and went to the movie. DOH! It's in QuickTime format (Sorenson 3)! HA-HA-HA, figures! Great film! It was a little hard to follow but had nice imagery and a really good feel. I especially like the transition to the lovely color city scenes. I had to watch it a couple of times. Nice job, I hope it does well for you. ... now I'm off to find some Realmedia to try out this new download and see if it works. Of course I would almost rather people just stop using it until Real stops is horrific abuse of users computers. |
