Boy do we HDV guys love to go off topic ;>)
I myself am very anxious to get to the bottom of this 30p to 24p issue asap. I will give twixtor and Algolith a solid effort. We don't have the cash or need to justify a film transfer but I love the opertunity this cam provides to those of us willing to break new ground so I will give it a go and report back when done.

Well I still see the conversion issue as nothing more than a technical problem, not an impossibility. I have also heard good things about algolith, and want to give it a try. To be honest, all I really want to do is get to the creative (not technical) side of the film making process. But I guess being a jack of all sides is the life of an indie.
