Canadian retailers?

Anyone delt with a good retailer for HD10's in Canada?
On-line or not is fine.

Darren Kelly, care to field this one? Canadian buyers get the matte box for free from Cavision with the camera! Lucky ducks!

Hi Guys,

Sorry for not seeing this earlier. I was at CES since last Thursday morning.

There are some great vendors i Canada. Check out Henry's in Toronto - http://www.henrys.com.

I see you're in Vancouver. Contact Mark Dowsett: Direct: 604.763.4020,_Email: mark@siliconcowboys.com or mdowsett@mac.com

Please mention my name.

The Matte Box comes with the JY-HD10 in Canada. It is made by Cavision, also a Canadian company. You can reach them at http://www.cavision.com.

Hope this helps

No Henry's sells the 1 only I believe.

I can't believe Marc didn't respond. I'll call him myself and tweak his memory.

Well here is the update.
No responce from JVC Canada Pro division on where to buy the cam.
No luck finding any on-line retailers who stock the HD10.
No retailers know that the HD10 comes with a matte box.
No reply from Mark Dowsett as recommended by Darren.
Looks like a particular company realy doesn't want my hard earned bucks!

Can you buy from B&H, or will the taxes in Canada be too high?

We could go B&H, but there is:
Shipping, and import duty. Plus no Matte box.
Then there are issues with warrenty when you buy out of country.

I just recieved an e-mail from CinequipWhite.
They are located in Vancouver area:

Cinequipwhite carries JVC Pro Products.
Pricing, including MB package is:
New: $5495.00
Demo: $4995.00

Is that a good price? Man, I'm off on my American-to-Canadian conversions.

Gee Ken, I'm embarrassed for not telling you about Cinequipwhite, and I'm also not happy that Mark Dowsett didn't respond. That's twice he let me down.

Hope you like the camera
