HDcapture of short clips possible?
I was looking at some video I shot in the viewfinder, and noticed that to my amazement, some of my shots were not captured to the harddrive!
I see at the bottom of the HD capture help screen, in Jap-lish, "New file cannot be created if imported file contains less than 5 seconds. " So I see the clips being captured, but they get deleted because they are two short?!? Any hacks to get around this? Maybe a regedit? Seems silly. -Les |

Yes. Using either DVHSCap or VirtualDVHS on a Mac.

Well, I guess I'll just make sure to leave the cam running for more than 5 seconds in the future.
I stopped using Macs 5 years ago, so that's not an option for me, unfortunately. -Les |

For the PC. The Aspect HD capture tool can handle to short sequences much better than the software included with the camera. The current release version handles sequences as short as 30 frames. We about to release an updated version that will provide a lot more capture options.
