OS X Panther free or $20 for G5 owners
Apple sent out emails saying anyone who bought a G5 after August 16 can get Panther for $20.
My buddy bought a G5 on Monday and he gets a free upgrade. Go to www.apple.com for details. I already placed my order! heath

I placed my up to date order on 10/20. Fedex reports it was picked up on 10/22; it should be waiting for me when I get home tonight. You can check your order status and track it by logging into the Apple Store.
