Battery life
How is battery life in the HD10 compared to a VX1000 or GL1?
With my GL1 I get by with 2 batteries totaling 7500mah. I heard that the HD10 sucks more juice!? Thanks!! Steve Galvano |

No problems in DV mode, with an hour and a half of footage shot straight (no real breaks).
SD/HD I haven't used a lot to test the battery. heath

It does not (surprisingly) eat that much more battery in HD (about 80-90 minutes with the side LCD on). We also used the camera for a whole afternoon almost without interruption (not shooting all the time and not with the LCD always on 'caus we had a monitor) and we used one battery.

I have only two batteries and am having no problems with power! When I start getting business with it, I'll likely buy another battery.
