Any JVC experts know this camera?
JVC GR-DVM5E? I'm looking for info on it but can't seem to find anything on the web or here. Basically I know its a fairly cheap home video type camera from a few years ago but I need to find out if it has a firewire connection (do all dv cameras have one?).
I can get a lend of one to shoot a missing scene from my short but the guy doesn't have it yet and doesn't know if it has a firewire port. If not, I'll have to look elsewhere. It doesn't matter for this shot if the quality isn't fantastic. Anyone have any info on this? Thanks, Jay. |

Sorry I just saw the "E"
The jvc.com site would only be US models since it is the US site.
It probably has DV out and no DV in. |

Yeah I had tried there and also some of the global sites too but it doesn't seem to show up. It might be quite old. So you think it wouldn't have a DV out? Would that be for most consumer models or is it just because it's a few years old or do you know?
Thanks, Jay. Edit: Sorry, I misread your post. So it probably has a dv out (that's firewire right?)? That would do the job then. I wouldn't need a dv in on it. Thanks. |
