Monivision

I just called Monivision about their HD monitors (the Calif. sales office) and the price ISN'T $775, it's $1300! And that includes the both the 29 and the 30 inch. The salesman said it's the SAME price for both.

Forget it! Too pricey!

Go to the AVS HDTV recorders forum and you'll see the special $775 deal there for it.

<<<-- All that said, the Monivision is probably still the best for an overall low cost solution. And the loss of some horizontal detail may be better than coversion to 1080i or spending 2.5 times the price (or more) to get true 720p. -->

Avoid, at all costs, conversion. The Monovision has enough rez for the JVC.
