I love these cameras. I own a JVC MC-500, the predecessor for these. Mine has 3 CCD's, 10X optical zoom, 4 GB of storage. It can accept lenses, and it works great for me.

I love that I can shoot 1 hour of video onto a hard drive, then plug it in, and download the footage. No tapes ever!

It's sad that the new ones don't have 3 CCD's. If mine only had more manual control, and zebra stripes it would be the perfect SD camera.

I almost sold mine to get money towards a HD-100, but I decided to keep it.

JVC is making some awesome stuff lately, I am crossing my fingers & hoping they will make a professional tapeless camera.
