HD3 (and HG10) High Altitude Worries
In the HD3 User Manual, as well as the Canon HG10 User Manual, caution is given to using these units higher than 3000m (9870ft). What gives? Are all HDD camcorders like this? I'm Denver-based and given I already soak up 1/2 that limit just by being in Denver...what's one to do when wanting to shoot video in the Rockies?
Priority to me is going tapeless but if I get bitten by this high altitude bug, especially given the price of these units, I'm a bit nervous. Any thoughts on what gives with high altitude and these HDD camcorders? Rob |
