Ls300 lolux

I surrender. Everything I read in the manual says that lolux can be set at either ISO 12800 or 25600. I believe it but I can't find a menu item that allows these options. Can anyone tell me how to set lolux ISO?

Re: Ls300 lolux

I couldn't find it back either but why would you want that? 12800 allready looks bad, can't imagine how 25600 would look like.

Re: Ls300 lolux

Sometimes it's really dark and more important to get the shot, even if it really is noisy. But you are right; it really does look lousy.

Re: Ls300 lolux

Hi Conrad,

I only know of two ISO settings for Lolux, which are ISO 51200 and 25600. To make these changes:

Main Menu -> Camera Function -> USER Switch Set ... ->

keep scrolling down until you find "Lolux", and it will allow the option between 51200 and 25600.

[edit - info added] Looks like the difference between 51200 / 25600 and 25600 / 12800 depends on your Gamma mode. If you are in JLOG1, you will be restricted to 51200/25600. If you are not in JLOG1, you can set Lolux to 25600 or 12800. Hope this helps!)

I found lolux but not the option to switch ISO.

Is there some other setting I'm missing?

Re: Ls300 lolux

Oops. My bad. I stopped at user 3 which is set to lolux. I finally realized I had to continue down the menu for the lolux button. Thanks to all.
