Just Got Rokinon 8mm T3.8 Fisheye lens
Wow, this is a nice lens. I picked it up used at the camera store when I went in to grab my wife the Sigma 50mm Art lens for her birthday. This fish eye has a very nice optic view. Reminds me of the Rokinon 35mm T1.5 in a way.
BTW, the Rokinon 35mm is the best of the Rokinon series in my book. It is a non DS series and it reminds me of the 50mm f1.4 canon lens I had before coming to LS300. The canon 50mm F1.4 was my beauty lens. I will try to show some footage with the 8mm fisheye as soon as I can get this last wedding vid edited and out to customer. |

Re: Just Got Rokinon 8mm T3.8 Fisheye lens
Congrats! I really like the Rokinon Cine line. I have the 8, 16, 24, 35, 50, 100(macro) and now the 300 reflex lens. My 24mm Rokinon DS Cine lens is my Go-To lens for being jus ta little wide and still a T1.5 but usually shot at about 4.5 to 5.6. The 300mm reflex lens I just got for fun, but it's small and light with a 180'f focus throw. F6.3, no aperture, set with ND and ISO. It seems to be alot better than the reflex lenses I've used in years past. Might be due to that it's 300mm instead of 500mm older reflex lenses.
