Secced.com Cranes! Any Good???
Hi everyone!
I am close to buying a secced camera crane, and tried to find some feedback about their cranes but didn't find any. I am interested in the 6meter Traveler Crane. Anyone tried their cranes/jibs? If so how durable is it for the price? Are there better ones for that kind of budget? I'm in OZ and I can get one for about 8k Here's the link SECCED Thank you all! |

that's lot of cash to blow on a crane - no wonder you want some comments.
I'm sure the Kessler Crane can go to 18' - 6m and it should cost less than 8k. I like the dual arm design for stability. www.kesslercrane.com |

Secced cranes
Tried it on ibc2008 and it is the best Chinese crane you can buy. Operation wise it is alright
I think it is more stable than a comparable Jimmy when new. Can't comment on the electronics and durability as I never used it in real production. I think you better go with Jimmy as there is enough support and stuff, don't know about the chinese support. I took secced tripod for testing on a documentary and used it for 10 days, all I can say is it is not up to the standard of the sachtler they are replicating. |
