DIY CRANE - Rectangular Bar Dimension

Hello im wondering if anyone could help me measure the height and width of their Pro Am Aluminum Rectangular Bar for both the top and bottom one ? (the small bar and the bigger bar) just feel like making my own crane thanks loads ! owh yea Any idea if its Aluminum or Steel ? thanks !!!

hey thanks for those. I made one before just that the material i chose was ergh.... too bulky hard to transport so would like to make one with those kinda rectangular bars like those used in Pro Am

I am using 70x70mm with 3mm sidewalls. Camera side arm will be around 3.5m long. I have made parts of 1m in length so it can be break down.

Hey Anthony, I have the 12' 250 and it's made of aluminum. It's off on a gig right now, but I believe its 2" high and 1" wide. As for the wall thickness I can't say until it comes home. The top bar that moves the head is roughly 3/4" high and about 1/8" thick, and is also made of aluminum.
