Flying with delta
I am flying next week on Delta from LAX to Atlanta. I am bringing my EX1 in a pelican case as a carry-on as well as my laptop in my backback. I will be checking my Libec sticks in a rather massive 16" x 46" case (outer diameter). I know it weighs less than 50lbs but I am not sure on the size restrictions with Delta.
Has anyone had any experience with flying on Delta?

Mitchell, go to Delta Air Lines - Airline Tickets and Airfare to Worldwide Destinations, then go to Traveling and check in, scrool down to baggage and they have all the information you need pertaining to size, dimentions, weight and number of bags allowed plus cost per bag checked. I am heading from Atlanta to Boston on Monday via Delta. I am hand carrying my CanonXL-2 in a Tamrac roller case and checking luggage and tripod. Bob

Looks like 62" (L+W+H) is all I can do for normal luggage. Their oversized luggage is upt to 80 linear inches and is $90. I am going to just call them and ask. Thank you!
** Edit Looks like Delta has no support line...figures
