HDV workflow for FCP

Hello All,

I mostly read the other post to get the info I need but I am now getting frustrated with the HDV workflow and its result.

I have recently stepped in to the HDV world with the purchase of the XHA1 and for one thing I am very happy with the camera and its beautiful look and its features.

In reading and looking at what others are saying about the work flow it starts to get confusing to me. I am trying to figure the best way to shoot, capure, edit and export my footage. Now most answers I have been reading have been asking the person "what is you reason for your out put". Well I really want to know them all. I have never had problems in the past with DV because I know what I needed to do to get then (clients) what they needed.

I have found HDVxDV and have not now used it yet but is that the answer to all my questions? Or is there still more to it. Is it the export that I should be looking at. I want to keep the quality to the T from the original without losing much if any of the quality if any at all.

If someone can link me to a place that explains this or can explain it in simple terms what to do. I hope I have given enough info, if not please ask me.
Thanks,
Dave
