Editing Setups
Hi all -
Just curious to know: 1.) What NLE you're using 2.) What other software such as compositing, titling, audio, etc... you are utilizing with the NLE 3.) The hardware you're running all this on I'm looking for ideas in putting together an editing system and would appreciate your comments regarding your system setups and the pros and cons you have dealt / are dealing with. You don't need to post pics of your system, but detailed specs would be grealty appreciated. Thanks. |

Andrew, you could get a lot more useful info if you post your specific needs. What are you shooting with, is it SD or HD, what kind of video work are you exactly doing, what will your final product be, etc, etc... Beyond personal preferences these are the questions that determine what one would use for post processing.

Maybe I didn't word it correctly in my original post, but what I'm seeking is to get some ideas from what the DVinfo community are utilizing currently to edit their projects. If anything I would need the editors to post their specifics. I'd just like to know how they are faring with what they are using, the pros, the cons, any little quirks / workarounds etc... so that I can judge for myself as to which platform may work the best for me. Again, the more details / specifics of the setups / systems she or he utilizes, the more I'd appreciate it. Thanks!! |
