16:9 video to 4:3
I shot a video in 720p, downconverted to SD with after effects(i read a lot about HD-SD conversion and AF method seems to be the best choise) into Pal 16:9 SD file. Unfortunately our broadcasters show only 4:3 picture, so i need 4:3 picture and 16:9 letter box video in it. How can i get 4:3 out of 16:9? Im concern about losing sharpness of the video. I've tried to create 720x576 composition in AF, then resize it myself and then export as SD PAL 4:3, but video was not as sharp as it could be
Any suggestions? Thanks for help. |

Check out the following thread to see how I achieved 4:3 from 16:9 within After Effects by chopping the sides:
