TMPEGEnc Pixel Aspect Ratio for HDV

I am using TMPEGEnc to encode my standard def DVDs. My source files are HDV 1440x1080 using the Cineform Aspect HD codec. First, the output looks great, much better than PPRO 2.0 media encoder MPEG 2.

Question: I notice that my footage doesn't quite fill the screen horizontially in TMPEGEnc. Is that because my only output option is 16:9 and the footage in HDV is actuall at a 1.33 pixel aspect ratio? So, the native HDV seems to be squeezed ever so slightly. Any way around this when going to standard def DVD?

Thanks!
