HELP! Importing XH-A1 into FCP
OK, I have tryed various things but still have issues..
System: Mac Pro 2.66 (quad core) 1.7 tb internal; 2 tb external (miniG); Final Cut Pro vs. 5.1.2 Camera XH-A1 Canon (HDV) various frame rate footage (not on same tape) 24f; 30f; 60i What is the proper set up.. hdv 108024p doesn't work.. it wants to stop after every timecode break to tell me about it! VERY anoying!! IT also acts very odd in this set-up. IT does work however when I use the HDV-Apple intermediate Codec 1080i60 (even with 24f footage); however with this I have less controll (none) in the capture menu.. This captures all the footage from the tape.. however it cuts up the footage for every start/stop and creates a new "Untitled-" clip. I can't use it like this.. I want a 60min tape to capture as one long clip! HELP HELP HELP! Also the audio is out of sync!! WHY.. this is very annoying! |
