What about Pinnacle version 10 for HD? Is it possible to use it to air something? For example, there is a church wanting to put sermons on TV. Other than cuts, there would be some graphics up for the typical information like name, address etc as well as the scriptures. Would version 10 work for something like this?

That would really depend on what the broadcaster wants the format in. You could write back to tape and give it that way. You could create a VC1 in the spec that want (they could send you a Windows Media Profile file). Just depends on what they want and if you have the hardware in some cases.

Hi George,
After editing I could run back out to tape because they accept miniDV. Since a project like this doesn't require anything much but dissolves, cuts, and some titles, I was thinking it would be workable. I was concerned about the quaility of the titles so that it looks professional. So far the Pinnacle program has looked good on my dvd projects but wasn't sure if airing something with titles made with Pinnacle lessor versions than Liquid would look quite the same. Thank you Lisa |

Both Liquid and Studio use TitleDeko, so no big change there. Not the best titler, but it can pass.
