Post for HD and HDV Hard drive set up

I am in the process of building a Post machine. I want it to handle Uncompressed HD and HDV. I was looking at the Multibridge Extreme as the capture Device, but I am wondering if I should go internal or external for the Hard Drive array. I would like to have one solid Machine with Internal Hard Drives but I am not sure if it is the wise thing to do. Could some one give me advice? I will more then likely be using XDCAM HD 350 and the Sony or Canon HDV. Possibly Varicam as well, probably not a F900
Thanks
Matt
