720P downconverted to 3:4 gives a much better image
The pictures becomes much better when downconverted from HDV 720P JVC GY-HD100 (Pal version) to 3:4 SD PAL than 16:9 SD PAL. I am using Cineform and Premiere.

Better in what way? Also..what are you viewing the footage with?
