Flip4Mac...HD now?

Since "Flip4Mac" is now free---it seems that one can export all kinds of Windows media files directly from iMovie HD/Final Cut and Quicktime Pro.

It can also export Windows Media HD files also[am I correct?]

http://www.hdforindies.com/2005/07/h...days-dvd-discs

Because there are no standalone H.264 dvd players that I am aware of[until Blu-Ray/HD-DVD come out] and there are some standalone AVEL Link/JVC DVD player that will play Windows Media HD files...

One can get a $1,499 HDV camcorder, iMovie HD, Quicktime, Flip4Mac and the $250/400 dvd player and do HD today...hmmmm.

Interesting! Has anyone gone this route? Pros/Cons?

Flip4Mac Player is free. It can PLAY WMVHD
The WMVHD exporter is $179 to create WMVHD. I do use it and like it.
