Monitoring HD and SD output simultaneously at DVinfo.net

I am using the Matrox APVe card with three monitors:

Editing Screen 1 (DVI)
Editing Screen 2 (VGA)
1080i output onto Screen 3 (VGA)

This setup works really well but I often need to record an SD output of the HD project onto a VHS for the client to take away as a preview.

Does anyone have a solution for this? I wondered if another graphics card could be used for the SD output, but I suspect it might conflict with the Matrox APVe.

Any suggestions?
