Which Software For Editing?
Hi, I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right section. I have a Vixia HV 30 and I want to edit the footage on my pc. I have no idea what software to use since I've never edited video on a pc before. I saw programs at office depot for around $100-$150 (sony vegas movie studios, cyberlink power director 9), but I'm not sure if they are good enough for HD video editing. A buddy of mine told me to make sure it can do real time video rendering. I have to make sure it is done correctly because I'm putting the footage on some websites.
Thank you, Tony |

Re: Which Software For Editing?
Vegas Movie Studio HD is a good choice for editing HD footage. Also check out Adobe Premiere Elements and Edius Neo. They all have free trial versions you can download and upgrades to the "Pro" versions.
Re: "Real Time Rendering" Not really sure what your buddy meant, but the performance of the software will depend on your PC hardware, check the software system requirements to make sure.
