Bad Demo in IMovie
I was in an Apple Store the other day and they had HDV video of skateboarders, edited in IMovie. The quality was frighteningly bad--with those interlaced streaks and lots of artifacts. It reminded me of the bad review the HDV editing got in one of the big digital video magazines. Is all this compression and image degradation really the price? How much better can it get or should we all be saving up for the Panasonic?
