HDV-Connect at NAB
Hello HDV Fans-
Just as an FYI, Convergent Design will unveil a new HDV (over 1394) to HD-SDI Converter at NAB next week. Highlights of the box include: • HDV/DV to HD/SD-SDI Conversion • Component, AES, DVI, LTC Output • Reference Input • HD/SD-SDI Input to DVI, Component Output • RS-422 ↔ 1394 Deck Control • UnCompressed (1:1) over 1394 (SD Mode) • Web-Based Control and Updates • Comprehensive NLE Support HDV-Connect will translate RS-422 commands to 1394 allowing you to control the HDV/DV deck directly from you editing application. Additionally, you can input HD/SD-SDI into the box and view the video on a DVI or analog monitor. HDV-Connect includes an HD/SD reference input and can be genlocked to a house sync for compatibility with HD/SD-SDI routers. If you plan to attend NAB, please stop by our booth (SL4032) to discuss this product. More info can be found on our web site at www.convergent -design.com As both part-time designer and marketing person, I would enjoy hearing your comments and feedback. Mike Schel Convergent Design
